13 Reasons To Request A Lafayette Academy Tutor

(ten is catchier, but there really are 13)

  1. We know the local curriculum because we have been tutoring local students for many years.
  2. Our tutors pay attention to learning styles and study skills.  Most students complete a learning styles assessment and we adapt our tutoring accordingly.  In fact, many students struggle in school because they have atypical learning styles that are ignored in the classroom!
  3. Our tutors and center directors monitor each student’s progress.   That’s TWO more sets of eyes and ears helping your children.
  4. Our tutors don’t just “tutor.”  When necessary, they coach and mentor your children.
  5. Students like coming to Lafayette Academy because our centers are relaxed and upbeat and they love our tutorss.  Most of our high school students come because many of their friends recommend us!
  6. Our relaxed, fun environment is conducive to learning.
  7. Our tutors are carefully screened and highly qualified to tutor and encourage your children.
  8. We have the largest number of patient and experienced tutors in each of our markets. This makes it easy for us to find the right tutor for your child at the right time for your schedule.
  9. Our tutors include young college graduates from top schools, current and retired teachers, Cal students who recently achieved 4+ GPAs in high school, and many other people with interesting backgrounds and impressive credentials. We can always find a great match for your child.
  10. Don’t take our word for it, listen to one of our current students.

  11. We tutor in virtually every subject, 7 days a week.
  12. We offer same day tutoring.
  13. You don’t need to sign a contract or pay a big upfront fee to come to The Academy.
  14. Our popcorn is better than what you get at movie theaters, and it’s FREE!

Our Students Love Our Tutors

“I love that the tutors really care about our success, not only in a particular class but life in general. It is a great program and has helped me a lot.” James
““He explains it in a way that is understandable using real life examples.” Tina
“He is funny and he can teach at the same time.” Natalia
He’ll do the problems with me and helps me find my mistakes by retracing the steps I took to do the problems as opposed to just telling me the error or right answer. This way I can learn to spot my own mistakes. He is helping me do very well in pre-calc. Chelsey
“Makes sure you understand how we ended up with the solution to the problem, rather than just solving it. Lance
She is very specific and explains things to me in a way that I can understand. Jacqueline
