Shadow Classes™

Shadow Classes™ are weekly small group tutoring sessions that help students keep up or get ahead in school. Each class is specific to a local school and subject (e.g. Acalanes Chemistry or Monte Vista Geometry), and we typically have several classes each week for the most popular subjects. Our gifted instructors combine local textbooks, some proprietary handouts and their exceptional knowledge to help students understand ALL of the topics that are covered in school.

WHY YOU SHOULD ENROLL YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER...

• Shadow Class students get HIGHER GRADES because our instructors clearly and patiently explain complicated topics and prepare our students for tests and quizzes.
• Our instructors are experiencd, patient, and know the local curriculum.
• Our instructors monitor each student's progress and mentor them when necessary.
• Shadow Classes are $41 per class if you pay monthly; $30 per class  if you pre-pay for the semester(a savings of $175) or the year (a savings of $375).  Shadow Classes run for 16 weeks in the first semester and 18 weeks in the second semester.

SOME PARTICULARS

• Each class meets weekly for 60 minutes.
• Most classes have 3-6 students (with a maximum of 9)
• Missed classes can be made up by attending other scheduled classes.
• You can drop a Shadow Class for credit with seven days notice via email. Additional fees will apply.
• Shadow Classes are not held during winter and spring breaks or finals week.

Shadow Class Survey Results

• When we last surveyed our Shadow Class students, we only received a few new ideas because most of our students already love our Shadow Classes.
• 91% of these students improved their grades by one or two letters (e.g. C to A or B to A).
  
• Our average instructor rating was 4.8 (on a 1-5 scale).
